Analogue Sound Desk
The Allen & Heath ZED-10 is a 10-channel analogue mixer, combining both mic/line inputs and stereo inputs, suitable for small to medium-sized setups.
Inputs
It provides four mono mic/line inputs with XLR and 1/4-inch TRS connectors. These inputs are suitable for connecting microphones, instruments, or line-level sources.
The mixer includes two stereo channels with both 1/4-inch TRS and RCA connectors, allowing for the connection of stereo sources such as keyboards, playback devices, or other line-level instruments.
Processing
The ZED-10 features a 3-band EQ on all mono channels, allowing for tonal shaping of individual inputs. It may also include other processing features such as high-pass filters and pre-fade listen (PFL) on each channel.
Outputs
The mixer typically has auxiliary sends for routing signals to external effects processors, stage monitors, or other destinations.
The master section includes controls for the main mix, headphone output, and monitoring options.
