IAFAR Conference 2022

We were asked to provide after the live video and sound for both an in-house audience in London, and broadcast across the world for online viewers.

This event took place in The Phoenix Arts Club.

We had an in-person panel in London, ands up to 9 guest speakers streamed in from around the world.

Both the London panel, and guests were then streamed back out of the venue, to Youtube and through RTMP feeds for individual web links for ticket holders to view via the IAFAR website.

We used 4 cameras within the venue to give good coverage of the panel, and stage for the external broadcast feed.

To the left we had the Atem Broadcast Studio for our main broadcast feed to the Restream laptop. The cameras fed in to this through HD-SDI, and the Qlab machine on the right added overlays – titles and lower thirds.

Another laptop, with the bottom right Atem Mini Pro switcher, ran video outputs to the projector for the in-house audience to see guest speakers.

We used Restream’s studio for guest speakers to dial directly in to the system. From here, they could listen in to other speakers, and could discuss questions in a private chat between other speakers.

Here is an example of one of the lower thirds we created to highlight each of the speakers name and job titles.
